After an eventful evening full of melancholic farewells, the team got to sleep in an extra hour before indulging in the morning breakfast at Hotel Los Abetos and then packing the van for the long drive to Málaga.

Crossing once again through the Spanish countryside, students got to catch up on lost sleep and admire the rolling hills and vineyards of the expansive Córdoba province. We made a pit stop at a gas station on the way and got to admire the view.

Upon reaching our Hilton in Málaga, the afternoon was almost entirely free to roam (aside from some quick tech meetings scheduled before dinner). That meant we got to divide and conquer Málaga freely. Most of us started by taking the L2 Metro at Puerta Blanca to Guadalmedina, to explore the heart of the city. We ate at local restaurants, admired landmarks, shopped, and when the sun came out, some of us even went to the beach and dipped our toes in the water.

Returning to the hotel, people were of course tired, but ready to work. As the several processions of Semana Santa broadcast on the hotel lobby’s TVs, we checked equipment, scanned transcripts to map our story, and then wrapped with a wonderful Hilton dinner.

Our journey through Spain is slowly winding down to a close. As always be sure to follow our socials to get a sense of our last days in the beautiful Andalusia región.
